Stained concrete floors are an artistic way to create
the elegance of burnished leather or aged natural stone
look. Acid stains permanently transform an ordinary
concrete slab into a luxurious floor resembling marble

Acid stains react with minerals that exist in newly
cured or existing concrete, penetrating the very top
layer of the concrete surface. The colors produced in

applied to enhance the appearance of the stained surface

replacement will not only cost you a lot more, it will
also again leave you with a plain gray unsealed surface

hand, will almost double the compressive strength of
your concrete and you will have a decorative finish
that is sealed and non-porous, thus eliminating staining.

A basic one coat interior stained and sealed floor,
is about the same price as an inexpensive carpet or
vinyl tile and will not need replacement.
Sawcuts, patterns, and multiple coats of stain are
equivalent to the price of high- quality carpeting.
Advanced stainings and sawcuts, such as unique sawcut
patterns, and complex staining techniques, are less
expensive then most slate, terrazzo, quarry tile, and
marble flooring.
